By joining our global team and learning from renowned subject matter experts, we can offer you a diverse career that could take you anywhere in the world.Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, the Mechanical Engineer in Training will work with the team to ensure the quality of deliverables is aligned with the needs of the project, the company objectives, and the requirements of the client.The tasks you'll performPrepare equipment specifications, bid evaluations and review of vendor technical informationMechanical equipment list preparation and maintenanceMaterial handling and pumping calculations and designEnsure project drawings and specifications comply with all relevant industry standardsDesign input to support completion of engineering drawing deliverables.Ensure specified equipment is fit for purpose and sourced for projects and studiesThe expertise you'll bringEngineering Degree from an accredited universityDemonstrated experience applying an engineering approach to problem solvingAdvanced literacy and numeracy skills along with high‑level attention to detailAn ability and willingness to go to site for project workExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to speak Spanish is desiredThe benefits we'll provideLycopodium has a strong company culture focused on career progression and technical skill development. This range is based on the role’s job family and level and reflects a good faith estimate for the role at the time of posting. Your final offer will depend on factors such as market conditions, internal equity and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
