This role requires advanced technical expertise, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service.What You’ll DoInstall, service, inspect, and repair liquid and vapor propane systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settingsApply advanced technical knowledge to propane‑related equipment, includingLPG dispensersPropane storage tanks and systemsSafely operate crane trucks, tank movers, trailers, and other service vehiclesPerform propane tank installations, relocations, and removalsMaintain service truck inventory; ensure required tools, parts, and materials are stocked dailyAccurately complete and submit daily service work orders and documentationCollect customer signatures or stamps when requiredApply lock‑out procedures on unsafe or non‑compliant customer installationsConduct and document pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, site inspections, and visual tank inspectionsEnsure full compliance with CSA B149 codes, regulatory requirements, and company safety standardsMaintain the highest standards of safety, workmanship, and operational excellenceCollaborate effectively with local and remote team members to ensure clear communicationCommunicate daily with the District Manager regarding completed work, challenges,



and overtime approvalProvide exceptional customer service while positively promoting the company’s products and servicesIdentify and support sales opportunities by providing technical solutions and product informationWork outdoors in varying weather conditionsPerform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications1–3 years of industry experience as a licensed Class B Gas Fitter or completion of Year 3 Gas Fitting ApprenticeshipStrong working knowledge of CSA B149 code(s)Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstractProvincial gas fitting certificates and records of trainingThorough understanding of propane properties and systemsProficiency with industry tools including pipe threaders, gas analyzers, tank movers, hand tools, electrical testers, and related equipmentAbility to lift heavy objects on a regular basisStrong problem‑solving skills and a proactive, can‑do attitudeExcellent communication and customer service skillsComfortable using computers, mobile devices, and handheld applicationsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentPreferred QualificationsClass 3 driver’s license or willingness to obtainExperience with liquid propane systemsAdvanced knowledge of propane appliances and plant operationsElevated lift, scissor lift, or zoom boom certification/experienceFall arrest or working‑at‑heights certificationWHMIS and TDG certificationPTI, PGAC, or other industry‑specific certificationsCompensationSalary: $37 – $43 hourly (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
