Mid-Level CNC Lathe Setup/MachinistWe are seeking an experienced mid-level CNC Lathe Setup/Machinist to support our Burlington operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for independent setup, programming, and operation of CNC lathes, with a strong focus on quality and productivity.DutiesSet up and operate CNC machinery, including CNC lathe and CNC milling machines, using Fanuc controls or similar systems.Read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and technical drawings to produce accurate parts.Program CNC machines using CNC programming languages; modify programs as needed for different jobs.Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and quality standards.Select and operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment,



and other manufacturing tools for assembly or finishing processes.Maintain a clean and organized work environment following lean manufacturing principles.Assist with material handling using forklifts or other equipment when necessary.Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during machining operations.QualificationsProven experience operating CNC machinery, especially CNC lathes and milling machines.Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of machining processes.Proficiency in CNC programming and familiarity with Fanuc controls.Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar programs; ability to read blueprints accurately.Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and program adjustments.Knowledge of manufacturing best practices including lean manufacturing principles.Ability to use calipers, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift operation is preferred.Familiarity with machining materials and techniques such as welding or assembly is a plus.Job Type: Full-timePay: $30.00-$35.00 per hourWork Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
