The Beer Store is the primary distribution and sales channel for beer in Ontario and is owned by 28+ Ontario-based brewers. We operate through Retail Stores, Distribution Centres, Draught Services, Customer Experience Centre, and our Corporate Office, forming one large team passionate about the beer business.The RoleWe are currently searching for aManager, Customer Supply Chain, reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning. This vacancy is a full‑time, permanent opportunity. The Manager, Customer Supply Chain is a strategic, customer‑first supply chain leader accountable for shaping the customer‑facing supply chain strategy across the organization and serving as the single point of accountability for Customer Business Review (CBR) governance across assigned customers, channels, and market segments. This role is a senior strategic bridge between customer requirements and internal supply chain decision‑making, unifying demand intelligence, inventory availability, promotional priorities, KPI performance, and operational readiness into one coordinated customer plan. As a cross‑functional leader, this role chairs Customer Business Reviews, drives KPI and scorecard accountability, strengthens customer collaboration models, and ensures the organization is consistently aligned to deliver exceptional service, event execution, and customer outcomes across The Beer Store and Brewers Distributor Ltd.LocationOur Corporate Office is located in Bolton, ON. We offer a hybrid work model with visits to the office a minimum of three times per week and on an as‑needed basis depending on the role and function. Up to 20 % of business travel is required to support organizational needs, therefore a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is required.What You’ll Be DoingOwn and lead the end‑to‑end Customer Business Review (CBR) cycle, aligning demand, supply, inventory, and execution into an integrated, customer‑facing planChair CBR forums, translating customer demand, commercial priorities, and supply realities into transparent, actionable decisionsEstablish and evolve CBR governance, frameworks, and planning processes to drive cross‑functional alignment and accountabilityServe as the primary supply chain advisor to executive leadership, delivering clear, data‑driven insights on customer performance, risks,
and opportunitiesTranslate complex supply chain dynamics into concise executive‑level recommendations that inform decision‑making and prioritizationOwn and govern customer supply chain KPIs, scorecards, and performance reporting, ensuring visibility and accountability across the organizationIdentify and lead resolution of service risks, inventory challenges, and execution gaps with a strong focus on commercial impactBuild and maintain strategic relationships with key retail customers, acting as the senior point of contact for service performance and issue resolutionLead joint planning with customers to align supply chain strategy with growth initiatives, promotions, and product launchesDrive cross‑functional alignment across Demand Planning, Operations, and Logistics to ensure readiness against customer commitmentsProactively identify risks across the supply chain and lead mitigation strategies to protect service levels and customer outcomesChampion continuous improvement, driving process innovation, performance enhancements, and supply chain capability advancementPerform other related duties and projects as assignedWho You Are – Your Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceExperience10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership, strategy, planning, and service governance in retail, beverage, CPG, or distribution environmentsDeep experience in implementing & leading Customer Business Reviews (CBRs) and joint planning forums with a demonstrated ability to chair structured customer conversationsTrack record of leading KPI governance and customer scorecard management, with the ability to design, track, and present performance metrics that drive transparency and build customer trustEducationAPICS / CPIM / CSCP / SCMP or equivalent supply chain designation preferredBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related fieldLean or continuous improvement training is considered an assetPost‑graduate in Supply Chain, Business, Customer Relations or Analytics is preferredSkillsComprehensive understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain planning including demand, supply, inventory, service,
and customer collaboration and how each dimension influences customer outcomesDeep expertise in customer supply chain strategy, service performance management, Customer S&OP governance, collaborative planning, and customer performance frameworksDemonstrated leadership presence with a strong ownership mindset and the ability to influence and align stakeholders across organizational functions and external customer relationshipsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments within the businessExceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to represent supply chain strategy effectively to customers, brewers, and senior internal leadersProficiency in customer‑facing planning and collaboration tools such as JDA, SAP IBP, CPFR platforms, or equivalent systems, with the ability to use data and system outputs to strengthen customer alignment and service performanceStrong analytical acumen and business judgment, with the ability to translate complex supply chain dynamics into clear customer insights and actionable decisionsCompensationSalary range: $93,000 – $116,200 CAD per year.
