SideShift is looking for a reliable, hands-on person who is eager to learn and ready to become a key part of our production team.

SideShift manufactures bow and stern thrusters for recreational boats. We’re looking for a Production Assembler to join our small, hands-on team in Carleton Place. You don’t need extensive manufacturing experience—we’re looking for someone who learns quickly, pays attention to detail and can be counted on to follow through.

What You’ll Do
Assemble products and components using basic power tools
Follow work instructions and quality standards
Inspect completed work and identify potential issues
Pick, pack and prepare finished products for shipment
Assist with receiving, inventory and general production work
Learn different areas of production and help wherever needed
Maintain a clean, organized and secure workspace

What We’re Looking For
Reliable,



responsible and able to stay on task
Quick to learn and able to repeat tasks accurately
Comfortable receiving feedback and applying it
Able to adjust when priorities or deadlines change
Familiarity with drills, screwdrivers and basic fasteners is helpful—but not required
