SAP Professional Services Solution Architect (S/4HANA Public Cloud)

Location: Canada (Eastern Time Zone Preferred)

Travel: Occasional travel to Toronto for design workshops, fit-gap sessions, and testing activities

SAP S/4HANA PUBLIC CLOUD EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED must have hands-on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition implementations. Experience with S/4HANA Private Cloud or ECC alone is not sufficient.

Successful candidates will have worked within Public Cloud constraints, including:

- Fit-to-standard implementation methodologies
- SAP Public Cloud configuration
- In-app extensibility and SAP BTP
- Standardized processes rather than core customizations
- Quarterly release assessments and impact management

focused on ECC brownfield implementations or heavily customized SAP environments are unlikely to be a fit.

About the Prospect

We are seeking a SAP Professional Services Solution Architect to serve as the end-to-end solution owner across the Professional Services workstream.

This individual will own the complete process landscape spanning:

- Engagement Management
- Resource Management
- Time & Expense
- Billing
- WIP Management
- Revenue Recognition
- Finance Integration

This is a highly hands-on role. We are looking for someone who continues to configure, test, and solve complex business challenges directly within SAP, rather than operating strictly at the architecture or advisory level.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the integrated Professional Services solution across the full engagement lifecycle
- Lead end-to-end solution design and maintain process dependencies across workstreams
- Drive fit-to-standard workshops and challenge unnecessary customization requests
- Perform hands-on SAP configuration within S/4HANA Public Cloud




- Evaluate downstream impacts of design decisions across Finance, Reporting, and adjacent process areas
- Lead cross-functional testing and resolve issues that span multiple workstreams
- Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex solution challenges
- Assess SAP quarterly releases and determine impacts to the solution template
- Guide extensibility decisions using Public Cloud best practices and SAP BTP capabilities

Required Experience
- 8+ years of SAP experience
- 6+ years supporting Professional Services business processes within SAP
- Minimum two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
- At least one implementation where you owned the end-to-end Professional Services solution
- Recent hands-on configuration experience within the last 12 months
- Deep understanding of:
- Resource Management
- Time & Expense
- Project Billing
- WIP
- Revenue Recognition
- Financial integration points
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Experience
- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Template-based global deployments
- Qualified Services industry experience
- SAP Professional Services Cloud certifications
- Prior experience with a major SI or SAP product team
- Bilingual English/French
