We are looking for a fast, efficient and highly organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team on a weekends-only, work-from-home basis.
The Scheduling Coordinator will play an important role in ensuring that our long-term health facilities are properly staffed and that shift records are accurate and up to date. This position requires someone who can work quickly under pressure, pay close attention to detail, and confidently manage multiple scheduling changes while maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain accurate staff schedules for our long-term facility contracts.
- Track daily and weekend shifts, including changes, replacements, cancellations, and coverage.
- Ensure all shifts are properly assigned and accurately recorded.
- Monitor staffing levels and identify uncovered or open shifts.
- Contact appropriate staff members to arrange shift coverage when required.
- Update scheduling records promptly when changes occur.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets, reports, and scheduling documentation.
- Communicate scheduling updates clearly with staff and management.
- Respond quickly to last-minute scheduling changes and urgent staffing needs.
- Review records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure all scheduling information is organized and readily available.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and facility information.
- Provide weekend administrative and scheduling support as required.

You should have
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially when dealing with last-minute changes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
- Ability to remain calm and skilled in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced computer skills and confidence learning and using new software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google software
- Strong Excel skills, including maintaining and updating spreadsheets and records.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience with scheduling, staffing, dispatching, administration, or healthcare/senior care is considered an asset.
Location: Preference will be given to candidates who live in South Calgary Schedule: Weekends Only. Saturday and Sunday availability is required.
The successful candidate must be dependable and consistently available for their scheduled weekend shifts. Flexibility may be required when unexpected staffing or scheduling issues arise.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
