This contract position starts November 2, 2026, and runs to approximately April 17, 2027, for the Winter season. The successful candidate will have a positive working knowledge of heavy equipment operation, previous snow removal experience, and posses a minimum of a valid DZ licence with a clean driving record.



This position will require the successful candidate to work independently and make appropriate decisions and as part of a team under general guidance of the Roads Foreman or his designate.

During the winter season this position will rotate from morning to afternoon shift and will be a 40 hour per week shift. This position is also required to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days every other week during the entire length of the winter season.

The current hourly rate for this position is $30.50
