to join our growing engineering team.Position OverviewThe Mechanical Designer will work closely with senior engineers, project managers, architects, and consultants in the development and coordination of building mechanical systems for various project types.The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, motivated, and capable of working in a fast-paced consulting engineering environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare mechanical design drawings and layouts using MEP AutoCAD and RevitAssist in HVAC, Plumbing, and Drainage system designCoordinate with Electrical, Architectural, Structural, and Sprinkler disciplinesPerform heating and cooling load calculationsAssist with equipment selections and system layoutsPrepare permit and tender drawing/documentsParticipate in construction administration activities including site reviews and shop drawing reviewsCoordinate with municipalities, contractors, architects, and clientsConduct field reviews and existing site condition surveysReview and coordinate shop drawings and RFIsSupport project delivery schedules and internal coordinationEnsure drawings and deliverables comply with project requirements and applicable codes and standardsQualificationsDiploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Systems Engineering,
