Senior Financial and Costing Analyst – ContractThe Senior Financial and Costing Analyst reports to the Finance Manager of Operations and leads the North American Group’s financial and analytical reporting. The role involves managing inventory management, production reporting, and standard costing across multiple currencies, companies, and operating locations. The Analyst provides financial and analytical reports, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements, while ensuring compliance with IFRS, ERP standards, and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Operations Finance team with inventory management, production reporting, and standard costing calculations.Engage with Operations to understand spending trends and recommend cost reductions.Develop and monitor performance metrics to support informed decision‑making.Create and update monthly financial reports, analyses, and complex accounting activities for North American entities.Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, improving existing reporting processes.Reconcile and analyze financial information, post journal entries, and complete account reconciliations.Provide technical accounting advice for Business Intelligence (BI) and corporate performance management (CPM) reporting.Implement SAP process order costing, variance analysis, and standard costing; assist in system setup.Support less experienced accounting staff and recommend efficiency and control improvements to the Director of Accounting, North America & Operations Controller.Prepare back‑up reconciliations for external auditors and coordinate audit activities.Collaborate with other departments to analyze business decisions,



including Power BI reports.Assist executives, directors, and department managers with financial analysis.Promote One Finance processes across Septodont groups and enhance shared procedures.Adhere to safety guidelines, GMP, regulatory requirements, and uphold company mission, vision, and values.QualificationsUniversity degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.Preferred recognized accounting designation.Minimum 5years of significant accounting/finance experience, including senior‑management interaction.Robust organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Microsoft AX) and understanding of A/R, A/P, inventory, and product costing processes.Exposure to project reporting, including percentage‑of‑completion accounting, is an asset.Background in pharmaceutical or food‑manufacturing environments is an asset.Compensation and BenefitsBase compensation starting at approximately $113,000.00CAD, with potential increases based on qualifications and experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage.Competitive bonus eligibility and professional development support.Paid time off, discounted gym memberships, and company‑sponsored work‑life‑balance programs.Employee recognition program, corporate discounts, and social events.EEO StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusion and will correspond only with selected candidates for interviews.#J-18808-Ljbffr
