Security Guard Group is looking to hire Part Time and Full Time Security Guards in Georgetown, ON. This posting is for an active vacancy within the company

This position requires the security guard to have their own vehicle to use as a shelter on site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Excellent Communication Skills
- Access Control
- Traffic Control Management
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
- Comfortable working with technology including smartphone applications and CCTV applications.
- Understanding security concepts and basic principles.
- Willingness to learn.
- Authentic, passionate, and accountable

Qualifications:

- Security related diploma is an asset.
- Security guard license - Mandatory
- CPR and First Aid Certificate - Mandatory
- Excellent communication skills to be able to interact with employees and facility management.
- Ability to use electronic surveillance equipment
- Personal vehicle to commute to work and occasional use as source of shelter
- Ability to use good judgment to identify safety and security threats
