Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Caseware and Taxprep CCH
- Perform detailed account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct thorough account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with budgeting activities by providing insightful financial data and forecasts
- Support auditing procedures by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Maintain precise bookkeeping records, including payroll processing and financial transactions
- Utilize accounting tools to generate financial reports, analyze trends, and support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and improve overall efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles with a strong understanding of corporate finance principles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Caseware and CCH
- Solid knowledge of account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis techniques an sinter company reconciliations
- Experience with payroll processing and financial services is highly desirable
- Familiarity with public practice and compliance standards
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus
