Make a difference as a Finance Assistant with Thunderbird Partnership Foundation. This full time, onsite role offers a chance to use your financial management skills in support of Indigenous communities.
You will perform a variety of financial tasks—60% finance and 40% administration—handling accounts payable, payroll, and the organization of financial records. Your role will also involve providing administrative support, collaborating with other staff, and maintaining strict confidentiality. As part of a mission-driven team, your work will resonate far beyond traditional finance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer weekly accounts payable processes and payroll • Reconcile credit card usage monthly and assist audits • Organize financial documents and prepare reports • Support administrative tasks for projects and committee activities • Engage in event coordination and community involvement
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field • 3 years of applicable finance experience, especially with Indigenous organizations • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and Sage Pro • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
