In this role, reporting to the Senior Estimator, you’ll prepare detailed estimates for earthworks and underground projects. Your responsibilities include conducting quantity takeoffs, reviewing specifications, and liaising with various stakeholders to enhance project execution. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and organized, with proven abilities in managing competing deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare estimates for underground utilities and earthworks
• Review drawings and project requirements for completeness
• Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing for bids
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Participate in project handover meetings with operations teams
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of civil construction estimating experience
• Minimum 2 years with underground utility projects
• Knowledge of construction methods and costs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
