Rehabilitation Assistant – Rehabilitation & Supportive Care ServicesReporting to the Program Manager of the Medical‑Surgical and Cancer Care department within the Rehabilitation and Supportive Care Services portfolio, and under the supervision of therapists, the Rehabilitation Assistant works as an active member of the patient care team. They help educate and promote movement, occupation, and function for individuals, families, and groups. The Assistant delivers interventions assigned by therapists to patients coping with limitations in movement and daily function, checks and cleans equipment, maintains treatment and storage areas, and may order necessary supplies.About YouGraduation from a recognized Community College Rehabilitation Assistant program OR Completion of a recognized combined Occupational Therapy (OTA) and Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) College program.Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLSC).Ability to communicate well with patients, families,
