ResponsibilitiesThe Housekeeping Aide will perform a range of cleaning duties using sweeping, vacuuming, extracting, spot washing; damp mopping, dusting or polishing, including:Resident rooms and bathrooms, including light fixtures, walls and floor surfaces.All common areas of the facility such as lounges, public washrooms, etc.Offices, conference room, multipurpose room, quiet room, etc.Parkade.Empty garbage cans in resident rooms, washrooms and offices.Vacuum draperies.Cleans carts and equipment.Report equipment/furnishings repairs and maintenance needs to supervisor.Performs other related duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation and experience:Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent combination of training,



education and experience.Skills and abilities:Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to deal with others effectively.Physical ability to carry out duties of the position.Ability to organize work.Ability to operate related equipment.CompensationThe target hiring range for this position is $25.82 to $25.82 with a maximum of $25.82.
