City of Chilliwack is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance Department. The role focuses on public sector accounting, budgeting, capital assets management and job costing. You will prepare working papers, liaise with external auditors and support financial planning.
Reporting to the Manager of Accounting Services, the incumbent will work with minimal supervision and perform internal controls, audit functions, and financial analyses, including EOC financial oversight when needed.
