- Maintain internal control frameworks (NI 52-109 / SOX equivalent) across corporate and site operations, serving as a primary liaison for external auditors.
- Partner with operational and site finance teams to analyze financial performance, explaining variance drivers across mine sites, commodity impact, and capital expenditures to key executive stakeholders.
- Lead research and practical application of emerging IFRS standards impact-specific to the mining industry (e.g., IFRS 6, IAS 36 impairment testing, IAS 37 provisions).
- Re-engineer reporting workflows, streamline month-end close processes, and leverage ERP/EPM tools to drive automation and eliminate manual errors.
- Facilitate initiatives with site accounting, legal, investor relations, and operational teams to drive accountability and hit critical project milestones.

- Advanced Excel capabilities and hands-on experience with enterprise financial software and consolidation systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, OneStream).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts to non-finance operational partners.
