Compensation

- $130,000 – $135,000 base salary

The Opportunity

This role is suited for developers who have established a solid technical foundation and are ready to take ownership within a firmware and embedded systems environment.

You will contribute directly to the development and improvement of systems that integrate closely with hardware, requiring precision, reliability,



and thoughtful engineering.

Location & Work Model This role is based in Abbotsford, BC. The first three months are on-site to support onboarding, product training, and team integration. Following this period, the role transitions to hybrid work. Position Description

- Lead development efforts using C/C++ across core systems
- Architect and design scalable, maintainable solutions
- Troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution strategies
- Mentor and guide junior and intermediate developers
- Establish best practices and coding standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical direction with business needs

Experience

- 7+ years of software development experience
- Extensive professional experience with C/C++
- Proven track record working on complex systems

Qualifications

- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Deep expertise in C/C++ programming
- Strong architectural and system design capability
- Leadership and mentorship experience
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
