Forbes has recognized us as one of the Best in Canada across all three major categories:Best Executive Recruitment FirmsBest Temporary Staffing FirmsBest Professional Recruiting FirmPosition SummaryThe Maintenance Millwright is responsible to keep all equipment running in good working order through preventative maintenance and repair.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting, and repairing equipment while following all safety rules and regulationsMaintain all equipment to required standards and be responsive to production needs and equipment failuresWork as part of a team and independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and safety while performing job dutiesPerform daily inspections of equipment, filling out inspection sheets and making note of any items needing repairPerform routine preventative maintenance on equipmentAssist electricians with machine repairs as requiredPerform routine maintenance on buildings systemsInstall new equipment as neededRebuild hydraulic and pneumatic cylindersFabricate various fixtures as requiredTroubleshoot failed equipmentReplace various items such as blown fuses, hydraulic pumps,
drive belts, saw blades, motor couplings, etc. as requiredUse milling machines and lathes as requiredPerform general welding repairsMaintain a safe and clean workspace at all timesResponsible to follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act and all Can Art Company PoliciesQualification RequiredMust have 433A Industrial Millwright licenseMinimum 3 years of millwright experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentAbility to install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipmentGood knowledge of hydraulic circuits/diagnostics, and basic electrical knowledgeRead and interpret component drawings/blueprintsProficient in weldingPLC experience is an assetBasic knowledge of Microsoft suites and Megamation program is an assetPrevious experience with metal processing, heavy stamping, or die casting equipment is an assetSkills RequiredExceptional communication and interpersonal abilitiesSolid interpersonal skills that allow for working effectively in a diverse work environmentAbility to take initiative on tasks and work with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and analytical thinkingStrong work ethic and positive team player attitudeAbility to multi-task and meet deadlines in a rapid paced environmentKnowledge of health and safety best practices in a manufacturing environmentWorking ConditionsPlant EnvironmentTwelve hour rotating continental shiftExposure to loud noise and heatMay be required to lift up to 50lbsOvertime as neededACCU-STAFF has an accommodation process in place and provides accommodations for employees with disabilities.
