Our client in mid‑town Toronto is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to add to their team:Plan various engagements and prepare/lead complex audits, NTRs, financial statements and T1, T2, T3 tax returnsPrepare personal and corporate tax planningPrepare and/or review financial statements in terms of accuracy, completeness and presentationPerform ad hoc requests (i.E. CRA correspondence, due diligence, financial planning)Review own and junior's work for quality, accuracy and relevanceCoach and motivate others to superior performance; develop the capabilities of less experienced staff through knowledge transfer, training and coachingConduct research on technical matters and recommend the appropriate solutionsSeek opportunities to add value to client account (i.E. tax planning) and manage client expectationsExpected compensation range: $70,000 to $95,000 per year, based on experienceThis is a current position with the firmRequirements3+ years of similar experience in Public AccountingUniversity degree in relevant fieldsCPA, CA designation, or very close to designation#J-18808-Ljbffr
