Assemble and weld products as per drawings and specifications
Conform to operator release program (criteria established with self-inspection)
Maintain an appropriate level of workstation cleanliness to ensure a safe working workplace
Adhere to company HR policies and Safety Policies
Contribute to overall plant cleanliness and machinery maintenance
Report all unsafe conditions and safety violations to production supervisor
Report any non-conformances to production supervisor
Maintains responsibility for all company issued tools and equipment
Job Competency Requirements Ability to read drawings and blueprints
Ability to perform quality welds adhering to aesthetic guidelines (through internal training program)
Ability to read labels,
safety warnings and guidelines
Ability to measure and determine quality of product
Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
Ability to perform “shop math” of conversion of fractions, decimals, circumference, metric
Required Education/Training St Johns First Aid Training (preferred)
Internal training of welding machinery setup and changeover
Internal training of reading of blueprints
