LCG Foods Distribution is a rapidly growing distributor of health foods to over 400 retailers across Canada. We are currently seeking dynamic candidates for full-time operations in our warehouse at Markham, ON.

Availability:

Mondays- Fridays 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Core Responsibilities include:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
- Plan and prioritize work assignments for the team to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
- Coordinate with other departments, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team and address performance concerns through coaching and mentoring.

- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving goals.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in inventory management and data entry.




- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and other departments.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and address issues in warehouse operations and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, order fulfilment, and inventory control.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required during warehouse operations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments.
- Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in warehouse operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00 per hour
