What’s the role?
Trading & Supply (T&S;) Canada has a network of 13 terminals in 5 provinces evacuating Canada’s 2 refineries as well as managing volumes imported from trading desks for distribution. Gretna is a small tank terminal in southern Manitoba while Winnipeg is the former Shell refinery converted to a terminal. Together they receive and distribute finished products using pipelines, rail and trucks.
This position is for a front-line engineering role to support all aspects of plant reliability, maintenance programs, critical documentation management as well as project front end development and delivery working collaboratively as a part of the natural team with the Project Manager, Operations, HSE and support groups.
What you’ll be doing
The purpose of this role is to provide engineering support to Winnipeg & Gretna enabling them to operate safely, reliably and cost effectively, as well as to support Project Management execution in alignment with appropriate technical and operating standards.
Key activities will be centered around Asset management, Reliability and Integrity, Maintenance Excellence, Asset Information Management, Asset Master Plans including but not limited to Process Safety and Safe delivery of project and maintenance activities.
This role will also support the project team by providing preliminary scope, operations and stakeholder information to the Project Manager and to ensure startup plans adequately provide the appropriate operational documentation,
barriers and controls by participating in applicable risk assessments and design reviews.

What you bring
The candidate must have legal authorization to work in the Canada on a full time basis
Degree in an Engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical or Chemical)
Must be a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or working towards this designation
7 or more years’ experience in Oil and Gas Engineering (specifically in process, projects, maintenance, asset reliability & integrity)
Solid experience in facility engineering
Skilled in Maintenance and Construction Safety
Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
Sound knowledge of the interdisciplinary engineering fundamentals as applied to asset Integrity, process safety and safe operations of process & storage facilities including pipelines
Experience in managing complex change management processes within global or regional organization
