Alpha House is seeking a dedicated Overnight Transitions Caseworker to assist clients overcoming homelessness in Calgary. Focused on a Housing First approach, this role requires strong case management skills to promote recovery.

As a member of the Housing Transitions Team, you'll support clients through the entire housing process, from intake to long-term planning. Engage with individuals to identify barriers and leverage their strengths to facilitate independent living. The ideal candidate must be compassionate, knowledgeable in housing systems, and able to support vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage clients to assess needs and barriers
• Assist with housing viewings, lease signings, and moves
• Provide life skills and goal development support




• Document case notes and maintain records
• Collaborate with housing partners for client success

Requirements:
• Minimum two-year diploma in a social science
• 1+ year background in addictions or mental health
• Experience with vulnerable populations preferred
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with lifting items up to 35 lbs
