In this full time role, you will take ownership of the embedded video pipeline, managing latency-critical components on ARM-based systems. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining Linux media components while ensuring effective performance under real-world conditions. Collaborating closely with the hardware team, you will shape the architecture and influence the development of vital subsystems that deliver exceptional reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own embedded video pipeline from sensor capture to transport
• Develop latency instrumentation and drive improvements
• Maintain Linux camera and media components with V4L2
• Tune hardware encoders for optimal performance
• Debug across software and hardware boundaries
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
• Strong embedded Linux experience on ARM products
• Advanced C programming and Linux kernel knowledge
• Experience with V4L2, media-controller, and buffer management
• Hands-on with Buildroot or Yocto for embedded systems
