What you’ll doReporting to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing, the Strategic Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for technology and service acquisitions enterprise‑wide. They will work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to understand procurement requirements and lead agile sourcing methodology, including determining evaluation and negotiation strategies for assigned projects. The role includes sourcing and contracting for IT related purchases—software (SaaS/Cloud), hardware, managed services, and consulting services—of medium‑to‑high complexity. The specialist will lead the sourcing and contracting process for medium‑to‑high‑complexty tasks: vendor investigation, developing sourcing strategy, bid solicitation/RFx, negotiating contract pricing, commercial terms, and completing all necessary procurement documentation for varied IT contracts with new and existing vendors. Additionally, they will facilitate the contracting process with internal and external legal counsel following compliance review processes (Security, bank compliance, Tax, Privacy, etc.) and work collaboratively with all business areas and the IT organization to contract solutions that meet business priorities. The specialist will act as a liaison between internal business units and external vendors, maintain ownership of specific vendor or business client portfolios, and contribute to demonstrating the value of IT Procurement services to increase its usage. They will ensure that the IT Procurement Lifecycle is followed and that industry practices are introduced throughout the procurement and sourcing lifecycle, ensuring contract terms,



Service Level Agreements, and escalations are understood across the sourcing/contracting phase. They will identify opportunities for procurement cost reduction, deliver support for ad‑hoc reporting and analysis, develop vendor portfolios, and provide subject‑matter‑expertise, support, and training to analysts or current hires in IT Procurement, identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.What you bringUniversity degree, college/technical institute diploma, or equivalent work experience.Minimum three (3) years of experience in an IT Procurement role.SCMP/CSCMP certification is an asset.In‑depth knowledge of IT Procurement processes and core competencies including technologies and services.Strong leadership skills and presence, remarkable sense of accountability, and demonstrated ability in constructing procurement strategies and solving problems.Outcome‑focused critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize continuous innovation.Team-oriented team player with superior influencing, communication, and negotiation skills who builds relationships easily across various cross‑functional groups.BenefitsComprehensive benefits and retirement programs.Performance incentives.Continuing Education Programs.Other perks to support well‑being.Career growth opportunities and product discounts.Broadband.SalarySalary Range: CAD 64,000.00 – 106,000.00 per annum (typical hiring range CAD 75,000.00 – 85,000.00).
