Consideration will be given to women, Indigenous people, visible minorities, and persons with disabilities.An eligibility list may be created from this competition and used to fill similar regular, term and acting status positions and will remain in effect for 12 months.Candidates who do not meet all essential criteria may be considered on an underfill basis at a commensurate rate of pay.Candidates are required to submit a résumé and cover letter (Word or fillable PDF format only).PurposeThe purpose of this position is to plan and implement provincial silvicultural and tree improvement programs as identified in Forestry and Peatlands Branch strategies.DutiesPlan, schedule, supervise, administer, and report on all aspects of the programs, including the Provincial – Industrial co-operatives.Work closely with external service providers to ensure that seedling crops are sown, grown, and delivered to end-user locations in a fiscally and time-responsive manner.Essential QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Forestry or Forest Management, a post‑graduate degree in Forestry, Forest Management, or Tree Improvement, or a diploma in Forestry, Forest Management, equivalent related experience may be considered.Experience planning, performing,
