JMC is pleased to partner with Acadian Construction to recruit a Senior Project Manager . This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional to lead complex commercial projects from preconstruction through completion.

Reporting to the Director of Construction, the Senior Project Manager will oversee project delivery, financial performance, risk management, client relationships, and project teams. The successful candidate will bring strong general contracting experience, sound construction knowledge, and the ability to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and successfully.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead commercial construction projects from planning through completion and closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, costs, and overall financial performance.
- Identify and address project risks, issues, and potential delays.
- Oversee contracts, procurement, change orders, billing, and project documentation.
- Lead and support Site Supervisors, Project Coordinators, and other project team members.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among all parties.
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, contractual, and company requirements.
- Mentor and support less experienced members of the project management team.





What You Bring

- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least seven years of progressive construction project management experience.
- Project management experience working for a general contractor.
- Experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of project budgets, schedules, costs, forecasts, and change orders.
- Experience leading project teams and working directly with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Robust leadership, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software.
