Position: Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

Location: Etobicoke, ON | Hybrid - 3 days/week

Salary: $105K-110k base + 15% bonus

Our client is a leading Canadian payments and fintech organization looking for a Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join their MarTech team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud developer who wants to take ownership of complex marketing technology solutions across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Account Engagement (Pardot), and Data Cloud.

What you'll be doing

- Design, develop and optimize solutions across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Contact Builder, Advertising Studio and CloudPages
- Build scalable marketing automations using SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, APIs and dynamic content
- Architect and implement multi-channel customer journeys, including behavioral, event-based, API-triggered and transactional journeys
- Develop audience segmentation, personalization and customer lifecycle solutions
- Manage consent, subscriptions and customer preferences, including custom landing pages and real-time personalization
- Support Marketing Cloud configuration, deliverability, data governance and platform optimization
- Configure and enhance Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), including lead scoring, grading, Engagement Studio and automation rules
- Develop scalable audience models in Salesforce Data Cloud for segmentation, personalization and cross-channel activation
- Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce APIs, middleware, SFTP and ETL workflows
- Partner with Marketing,



Data and Technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Take ownership of complex, high-impact workflows from architecture through implementation and troubleshooting

What we're looking for

- 3+ years of hands-on, independent Salesforce Marketing Cloud development experience
- Strong experience with AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, CloudPages, Contact Builder and triggered sends
- Experience with Pardot / Salesforce Account Engagement, including lead scoring, grading, Engagement Studio and automation
- Strong understanding of data modeling, segmentation and audience activation
- Strong HTML/CSS, JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML and ETL experience
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive execution with minimal supervision
- Solid communication, documentation, organization and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

- Salesforce certification
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud
- Enterprise-scale marketing automation implementations
