Job Title: Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant (Architecture & Development)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant who bridges the gap between enterprise architecture and hands-on technical execution. In this role, you will lead end-to-end ServiceNow solution designs, establish governance and best practices, and build complex applications across the platform. You will serve as the primary technical advisor to business stakeholders while actively developing scalable, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Architecture & Solution Design: Lead the technical design and architectural blueprinting for ServiceNow platform implementations, ensuring alignment with client requirements and enterprise IT strategy.
- Hands-on Development: Architect, build, and deploy advanced custom solutions, workflows, Service Portals, custom widgets, and complex integrations using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST/SOAP APIs, and Integration Hub.
- Technical Leadership & Governance: Establish platform technical standards, code review processes, and release management strategies; mentor junior and mid-level consultants.
- Integrations & Data Modeling: Design resilient data models and robust integration frameworks between ServiceNow and third-party systems (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, Workday, Azure AD, Monitoring tools).
- Client Advisory: Partner directly with enterprise stakeholders to translate business goals into technical requirements, conduct technical scoping, and drive strategy sessions.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Oversee automated testing frameworks (ATF), conduct rigorous code reviews,



and maintain clean platform upgrade paths with minimal customization debt.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead technical role.
- Core Development Skills: Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES5/ES6+), Jelly, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP web services, and ServiceNow APIs (GlideSystem, GlideRecord, REST API).
- Platform Breadth: Deep technical experience across core ITSM modules alongside hands-on expertise in at least two of the following: ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, or App Engine .
- Architectural Capability: Proven record of designing enterprise integrations, multi-instance strategies, custom data models, and complex workflow automation.
- Communication: Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical executive leadership.

Certifications (Required & Preferred)

- Required:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Highly Desirable:
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more tracks (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CSM)
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA)

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working within a technology consulting firm or IT qualified services environment.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow).
- Active engagement with ServiceNow Platform upgrades, clone management, and ATF execution.
