Who you are

- 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, with deep expertise in React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

- Robust collaboration skills and experience partnering closely with Product Design and cross-functional engineering teams

- Experience building or maintaining a design system, component library, or shared UI platform used by multiple product teams
- A strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)

- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects from conception through execution, and to influence technical direction beyond your immediate team
- A passion for creating high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code, and for making other engineers more productive
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent industry experience

What the job involves

- Design and build reusable, high-quality components that scale across Faire's web surfaces

- Champion accessibility and performance best practices across shared components

- Establish and maintain testing strategies and quality gates for the design system

- Partner with engineers across the company to drive adoption and evolve the system based on real usage

- Contribute to the technical direction of our frontend architecture

- Accelerate design process via AI-assisted tooling





- Mentor other engineers, participate in design and code reviews, and raise the bar for frontend craftsmanship across the org
