**Manager, Contracting Solutions**The Manager, Contracting Solutions provides leadership and expertise for PPI's most complex contracting activities and strategic initiatives. Responsible for overseeing specialized contracting, advisor and MGA transitions, process optimization, and technology-enabled transformation, the role ensures contracting services remain productive, scalable, and aligned with business growth objectives. Through deep industry knowledge, operational leadership, and a focus on innovation, the incumbent drives continuous improvement, advances automation opportunities, and helps position the contracting function as a strategic enabler of advisor success and organizational growth.**Key Responsibilities:*** Lead a specialized team responsible for complex contracting cases, including multi-advisor arrangements, advisor transitions, MGA acquisitions, and onboarding activities.* Coach, mentor, and develop Contracting staff through ongoing feedback, training, and development planning.* Act as the subject matter expert for complex contracting and transfer scenarios, providing guidance and solutions to internal teams, advisors, carriers, and partners.* Oversee the successful integration of acquired advisor practices and MGAs, ensuring timely execution, risk mitigation, compliance, and a seamless advisor experience.* Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance service delivery, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency.* Establish and maintain best practices for contracting, licensing, and advisor transfers, ensuring consistency, scalability, and regulatory compliance.* Champion automation and innovation initiatives within Contracting, by identifying opportunities, building business cases, and leading implementation and adoption efforts.* Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives, acquisitions,
system implementations, and operational transformation projects impacting contracting operations and advisor onboarding.* Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership by providing insights and recommendations on contracting strategy, operational risk, industry developments, and emerging trends.* Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.* Some travel may be required.**Education, Experience and Skills:*** Creative problem solver with highly developed critical thinking skills* Passion for leveraging technology to improve processes* Experience and knowledge of life policy administration systems and data* Self-motivated with effective problem-solving capabilities and the initiative to be innovative and creative with developing new ideas and concepts* Results driven with demonstrated ability to flourish in environments of significant change* Superior organizational and time management skills with proven ability to organize self and others while handling high volumes of work and tight deadlines* Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships and work within a team environment* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint in particular* 10+ years’ relevant experience in the life insurance industry* In-depth knowledge of Apexa and Wealthserv* Advanced proficiency in English and French is considered a definite asset*This role is for a new position.
