About the role
The blaster is part of the mine operations team. He ensures that loading at production sites runs smoothly.

Clean long hole drill holes

Load long hole drill holes

Participate in underground construction work

Comply with, understand, and promote company regulations and policies, particularly those related to health and safety

Perform all tasks related to the duties of the position

Training & Experience

Hold a vocational diploma in mineral extraction

Have three (3) to five (5) years of experience

Hold a modular training card for mining workers

Hold a general explosives license

Hold a valid driver's license

Bilingualism (English/French an asset)

Skills and Competencies

Ability to work in a team in a multicultural workplace

Working Conditions

Eleonore mine site (fly-in, fly-out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji)

Schedule: 14 working days followed by 14 days off
