Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic to join our EDMONTON maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration systems across our facilities. This role requires a solid mechanical background, proficiency with HVAC systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals. The Refrigeration Mechanic will ensure all refrigeration equipment operates efficiently and safely, supporting the overall operational excellence of our organization.DutiesInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial refrigeration systemsConduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before system failurePerform repairs on HVAC units, boilers,
and related mechanical equipmentUse schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems accuratelyWeld or perform other construction-related tasks as needed for system repairs or upgradesMaintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performedCollaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure safety standards are upheld during all operationsAssist in the installation of new refrigeration units and related mechanical systemsWeekly on call rotationRequirementsProven experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic or similar role with a solid understanding of HVAC, appliance repair, and mechanical systemsWill consider apprenticesAbility to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams accuratelyStrong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipmentFamiliarity with industry safety standards and protocolsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentRelevant certifications or licenses related to HVAC or refrigeration systems are preferred but not mandatory RED SEAL.Valid drivers license .Job Type: Full-timePay: $50.00-$73.00 per hourBenefitsCompany carDental careExtended health careTuition reimbursementVision careWork Location: On the road#J-18808-Ljbffr
