The work will involve serious personal injury tort claims (falls, motor vehicle litigation, civil sexual abuse claims)



and accident benefit claims.Qualifications3-5+ years’ experience supporting a litigation practicePost‑secondary education (Legal Assistant/Law Clerk/Paralegal)Strong organizational skills with the ability to be proactive and follow throughSuperior communication skills (both verbal and written)Detail‑orientedAbility to multi‑task, prioritize, and work to deadlinesPrimafact experience would be an assetStrong keyboarding/computer skills (primarily Word and Outlook)ResponsibilitiesFile opening/closingDrafting documents, reports, and correspondence – providing full and detailed reports, charts, chronologies/summariesVarious tasks relating to statutory accident benefits, including completion of forms, communication with adjusters, etc.Being the liaison – direct front line representation with clients, opposing counsel, agencies, experts (holding meetings, gathering information, scheduling)Receive, distribute, and file mail, faxes, and emailsOther duties as assignedExpected Salary: $54,000 to $74,000.
