This position is responsible for helping to create a community of employees united by purpose and fun, deliver a mountain experience to guests that inspires stories, and who achieve departmental objectives and key results.



This position and their team are responsible for ensuring the best and safest on-hill product is produced and maintained. They will plan, supervise, and coordinate the activities of teams engaged in grooming, snowmaking, and summer construction projects.* Leading by example; working alongside team members to ensure the team is supported* Manage performance and motivate by setting clear expectations, measuring productivity, coaching, addressing concerns, and recognizing achievements.* Creating and maintaining schedules according to budgets and operational demands.* Planning and providing standardized on-boarding and training* Enforcing safety regulations and coordinating accident procedures* Coordinating and overseeing daily shift work and team communications* Coordinating maintenance and timely reporting of equipment issues to maximize up time.**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?*** 5+ years snowmaking or grooming experience required.* Landscape construction experience an asset.* Experience managing a medium size (30+ employees) work unit an asset* Comfort level working outdoors in extreme weather (heat or cold)* Ability to work weekend, day and overnight shifts.*\*This role is being posted to fill a vacant position*
