COMMENCING As soon as can be arranged to June 30, 2027, or one day prior to the return of the incumbent whichever occurs first
COMPENSATION Payband 7 $31.46 to $32.59
JOB SUMMARY This position requires the incumbent to safely transport and supervise Division students to and from school or other events. This position supports the strategic actions of the Multi-Year Strategic Plan.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE) Completion of School Division Bus Driver Training Program (a total of 60 hours). Eight hours in-service each year.
Class II Driver's Licence
School Bus Driver's Certificate.
CPR Certificate.
Completion of Respect In School or equivalent training is required.
Five years practical driving experience.
Six to twelve months experience as a probationary Bus Driver
Previous experience in supervising children.
Ability to work under little supervision and demonstrate good problem-solving skills and judgment.
First Aid Certificate an asset.
Bilingualism (English and French) an asset.
