Montreal Lake Child and Family Agency is seeking a part time Land Based Facilitator for hands-on Woodland Cree teachings in a camp setting. This role supports self-sustainability through practical skills and cultural knowledge.

As a Land Based Facilitator, you will work with Camp Home and Prevention relatives in Montreal Lake 106A and Little Red 106B. This position requires over five years of experience in traditional land-based practices and a strong understanding of Woodland Cree culture. Your expertise will help others navigate essential survival skills while ensuring a respectful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide traditional land-based teachings to participants
• Facilitate hands-on learning during wilderness activities




• Ensure safety protocols are followed and teach relevant skills
• Assist participants in acquiring cultural knowledge
• Act as a positive role model and support for community members

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in land-based practices
• Competency in Woodland Cree language and culture
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Contribute to the cultural growth and self-sustainability of Montreal Lake and Little Red communities.
