Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, answering questions about food and drink options.
- Take accurate orders using a POS (Point of Sale) system, ensuring timely and correct delivery of food and beverages.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks, following all safety guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering processes, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, promptly addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order fulfillment.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience or food industry background is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and change calculation.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Experience in bartending or serving roles is a plus but not mandatory; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow their hospitality expertise.
