Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage multiple tables by prioritizing tasks effectively through excellent time management skills
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while providing clear receipts
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas,
adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and basic math for accurate cash handling and bill splitting
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining a positive attitude
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
