Duties

- Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting menu items with enthusiasm and detailed knowledge of offerings
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments swiftly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setup, sanitation, and food safety compliance
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations




- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times

Requirements

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry standards
- Proficiency in POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for order entry and cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Solid customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude and ability to engage guests effectively
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation processes is a plus but not required
