Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Ensure food safety and sanitation by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness at all times
- Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to deliver timely service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly while providing attentive guest services




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment consistent with sanitation standards in the food industry

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with strong knowledge of the food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
- Solid time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours without compromising service quality
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and interact positively with guests
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued
