We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed
- Utilize POS systems effectively, including Micros POS, to process orders efficiently
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to alcohol service
- Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Strong attention to detail in drink preparation and presentation
