Whether you're starting your career or looking to build on your existing skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a specialist area of housing. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues, learn about service charge management, and develop valuable skills in customer service, data analysis, stakeholder engagement and finance.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Service Charge team, you'll help ensure residents, homeowners and commercial customers receive a high-quality service. You'll also:
- Support the preparation of service charge budgets and year-end accounts.
- Respond to resident and colleague enquiries, helping to explain charges clearly and professionally.
- Analyse financial data and identify trends using Excel.
- Build positive relationships with residents and colleagues across the business.
- Learn about leases, tenancy agreements and service charge legislation.
- Support projects across the service charge cycle, gaining exposure to a wide range of activities and experiences.

you'll be supported to build your knowledge and confidence while working towards a nationally recognised qualification - Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship
About You No previous service charge experience is required as we're looking for someone with the right attitude and enthusiasm to learn. You'll be someone who:
- Enjoys working with numbers, data and problem-solving.
- Can communicate clearly and confidently with a range of people.
- Has an interest in housing, property, finance or customer service.
- Is naturally organised and pays attention to detail.
- Enjoys building relationships and helping people.
- Is eager to learn, develop new skills and take on new challenges.
You'll Also Have
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths (grade 9-5 or A-C) or experience that evidences this competency.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including excel capability, using for example: formulas, Pivot Tables and vlookup functions.
What We Offer This is a 15-month apprenticeship programme, combining practical experience with formal learning, leading to a Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship qualification. Subject to successful completion of the apprenticeship and achievement of the required competencies,
your pay will be reflective of a Service Charge Specialist currently paid a salary of £46,000 per annum.

Are You Eligible? Before applying, check if you meet the apprenticeship funding requirements:
- You’ve lived in the UK, EEA, Switzerland, or Gibraltar for the last 3 years (you’ll need to show proof).
- You don’t already have a qualification at the same level or higher in this subject.
- You’ll be 18 or older when the apprenticeship starts.
