We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our after-sales service support for Versatile tractor dealers across North America.

The Service Manager is a key member of our Product Support and Quality Assurance team and is responsible for ensuring our dealers receive timely, knowledgeable and effective technical support throughout the ownership and service life of our equipment.

This role provides leadership to the Product Support Team and works closely with dealers, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Engineering and other internal departments to identify field concerns, resolve technical issues, monitor recurring problems and drive corrective actions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in agricultural equipment, aftermarket service or technical support, combined with excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee all after-sales service support activities for Versatile tractor dealers across North America.
- Provide leadership, direction and technical guidance to the Product Support Team, including office-based and remote personnel.
- Serve as a key escalation point for dealer service and technical concerns.




- Monitor field support requirements and ensure dealer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Identify recurring field issues and work with Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement with the goal of reducing repeat failures and improving the reliability and customer experience of Versatile equipment.
- Ensure dealer service publications, technical information and support materials are accurate, current and readily available.
- Coordinate Early Warning visits to dealers when required for new machine or option releases.
- Assist in developing technical training programs and curriculum for dealer service personnel.
- Oversee Techlink activities to ensure dealer inquiries receive timely and accurate responses.
- Periodically audit Techlink responses to ensure a high standard of technical communication and customer service.
- Monitor service campaign completion and dealer compliance.
- Coordinate the deployment of Product Support personnel to dealer locations when on-site technical support is required, including locations in Canada and the United States.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality and other internal departments to communicate field concerns and support product improvements.
- Assist with escalated customer concerns, including legal customer matters when required.
- Monitor trends in dealer service issues and provide feedback to management to support product and process improvements.
- Maintain strong relationships with the dealer network and ensure a high level of service and support.

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in an aftermarket, service,



product support or technical support role, preferably within the agricultural or heavy equipment industry.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.
- Previous leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural equipment and farm equipment dealer service operations.
- General mechanical knowledge and the ability to understand and troubleshoot equipment-related issues.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical literature.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with dealers, technicians and internal teams.
- Proven customer service and relationship-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to identify trends, prioritize issues and drive problems through to resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with AS400 and MAPICS Browser is considered an asset.
- Ability to cross border travel about 15% of the time.

Working Conditions

- Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Approximately 15% North American travel.
- Fast-paced manufacturing and agricultural equipment setting.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Primarily office-based, with occasional time spent in factories, setup facilities and Research & Development environments.
- Occasional travel to dealer locations for service support and issue resolution.
