Job Summary

Westlock Powersports & Marine is looking to add another technician to our Service Department.

We are open to candidates at different experience levels. This position could be a great fit for an experienced, BRP-certified technician looking for a strong long-term opportunity, or for a mechanically inclined candidate interested in starting in a PDI and entry-level technician role.

The position and responsibilities will be based on your experience, certifications, and technical ability.

For Experienced Technicians For an experienced or BRP-certified technician, responsibilities may include:

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and performance issues
- Perform complex repairs and troubleshooting
- Complete scheduled maintenance and manufacturer-approved repairs
- Use BRP diagnostic systems, service software, schematics, and technical information
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer requirements
- Accurately document repairs and completed work
- Communicate with Service Advisors regarding repair status and additional concerns
- Assist and support less experienced technicians when required

BRP certification and previous Can-Am, Ski-Doo, or Sea-Doo experience are considered significant assets.



For PDI / Entry-Level Technicians For candidates with less experience, responsibilities may include:

- Assemble and prepare new units for delivery
- Complete pre-delivery inspections
- Install accessories and components
- Perform basic maintenance and service work
- Assist experienced technicians with repairs and shop projects
- Identify concerns during inspections and report them to the Service Department
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Develop technical skills through hands-on experience and training

Previous powersports experience is not required for the PDI position, but strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools are key.

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
