Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression.
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication of menu items and special requests.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
- Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cashiering, processing payments, and giving correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery,



supporting overall restaurant operations.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of the food industry standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and transaction processing.
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential.
