Edalica Metal Services is a Brampton-based company specializing in custom metal fabrication. We work with a variety of metals and provide custom fabrication services for our customers.
We are currently hiring multiple Sheet Metal Workers to join our growing team. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are interested in learning and developing their skills in a metal fabrication environment.
No previous experience is required – we are willing to train the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Perform general sheet metal fabrication and shop duties
- Handle and move sheet metal and other materials
- Assist with cutting, forming, bending, and fabrication processes
- Learn and operate equipment such as brake presses and plasma cutters
- Read and follow basic work instructions and drawings
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Other duties as required
Training & Cross-Training Successful candidates will receive on-the-job training and may be cross-trained in:
- Brake press operation
- Plasma cutting
- Other sheet metal fabrication processes and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous sheet metal or manufacturing experience is an asset, but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills and equipment
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Able to lift approximately 25 lbs
- Positive attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures
- Forklift certification is an asset, but not required
Shifts We are hiring for both day shift and night shift positions.
