Part-Time Recreation & Hospitality Associate
Location: Hitz Sportscentre, 64062 393 Ave E. Foothills, AB
Pay Rate: $16-$20/hour + tips
Schedule: Evenings, weekends and holiday availability required

Position Overview
We are looking for an outgoing, adaptable part-time associate who can float seamlessly between recreation host and hospitality team member. You will run guest experiences across our activity zones - coaching axe throwers, setting up golf and baseball simulators and assisting with food and beverage service to keep the energy high and the facility running smoothly.
Key Resposibilities
* Activity Coaching and Safety: Lead safety briefings and coach guests on axe throwing rules and techniques; troubleshoot and assist guests on golf simulators and HitTrax batting cages
* Guest Experience and Desk Operations: Welcome walk ins and booked groups, check guests in, process payments at the pos terminal and manage bay/lane schedules.
*Food and Beverage Support:
Assist the pub/restaurant team taking orders running food and drinks to simulator bays and active play zones and bussing tables between groups.
Facility Maintenance and Reset: Keep miniputt course clean, reset axe lanes, sanitize sports equipment (clubs, bats, axes) and maintain overall venue cleanliness throughout shift.
Event Support: Assist with setup, guest flow and cleanup for private corporate events, birthday parties and league nights.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience: Customer service, hospitality, bartending/serving or sports recreation experience is preferred - will train the right candidate.
*Age Requirement: Must meet local legal age requirements to serve alchohol. (18 years)
* Physical Capability: Ability to stand/walk for 5+ hours and comfortably move equipment (pitching machines, golf clubs, baseball buckets)
* Certifications: Valid local alchohol service certificate ( Proserve)
Skills: High energy, confident public speaker, proactive problem solver And comfortable with various equipment tech.
